It has been a slightly frustrating week as we keep receiving more invitations with the wrong addresses (sad!). So for those that are wondering - yes you are invited and it should get to you any day now!! And if it gets lost in the mail - you can now see them below!

If you remember the stamps I wrote about here, they took forever to put on - but I absolutely loved the result! There were a couple of different set ups - depending on the recipient. Family and friends in MN and TX received their statehood stamps. I sent most of the Georgians the statehood and water conservation stamp as a joke! And most golfers received the Bobby Jones stamp!

Jenny Thompson Sciullo originally designed the invitations however they were too hard to Gocco. That isn't even going to cut it. So at this point - I have a plethra of stamps which may or may not make it into your mailbox.

The magnolia doesn't really constitute as a vintage stamp - however it is quite beautiful, extremely close to my colors, and represents the south! What is more southern than a magnolia?

This one was definitely tricky to find - and therefore might not be on everyone's envelope. On January 2, 1788 - Georgia became the 4th state to ratify the U.S. Constitution. A little history lesson for everyone! It features our state tree - the live oak - with the Atlanta skyline in the background! (And it also has my lucky number on it!)

I felt I need to also find a stamp that represented J. He was a little trickier - because all of the neat ones I found were also $300 per stamp. After searching for a couple weeks - I quickly ordered the following. You think this is an accurate representation?

I have also have some surprise ones heading your way...that might represent you. Therefore - I scavanged up these old True Blue stamps -- which I think are adorable!

Hope you guys enjoyed!

Phew...We can now rock and roll!

As with everyone, the holidays got a little crazy around here. However we are back to the grind and I have some updates on our latest finds (love a little rhyme).

Something that has been a point of concern lately is the music. I loved a band and the band was booked (as luck would have it), therefore I needed to find a new source of tunes. While I was distracted with the idea of finding an identical band to the one I love, I realized that that could simply not happen. Everyone has their own groove which makes them popular. So I switched to Gigmasters to see if they had any suggestions. Talk about a wealth of information...I was suddenly getting quotes left and right and tons of CD's in the mail. I eventually booked one based on their amazing lead singer's voice and the energy that I felt when I watched their video.

A couple of months later, I was still worried. While most of the bands had been very prompt in responding to my emails - there were pauses of communication sometimes spanning a week. I grew more worried and started to research new bands. J convinced me to give them a chance and let's check them out.

Check them out we did...this past weekend and boy am I glad! We drove to Birmingham, AL and stayed the night just to watch them play at Cafe Firenze. (If you are ever in that area, the Crazy Cajun next door has excellent food!) I am so glad that we had a chance to chat with them and everything helped reassure me that we picked an excellent band to get our people dancing and laughing. They explained why there was a disruption in the emails and that it will get better. They were so down to earth, J and I talked to them for quite some time. Then we sat back and listened to them bring the bar to their feet.
So ladies and gents -- we can now rock way into the night!

If you want to check them out further - click away! Nationwide Coverage

.

I give to thee...

The Favors.

Actually - they were suppose to be the favors -- my ingenious idea for incorporating a family recipe into a edible and delicious treat. However - one flaw in my plan.... accumulating enough supplies to make these wonderfully sweet pear preserves.

J's grandfather used to make pear preserves and we are still enjoying his last batch from 2001. Sadly when he passed...he didn't leave behind his secrets. Therefore - yours truly tried to replicated these pears and give them as favors. That is..until I realized that in order to make 200 favors....in 4 oz jars ... will require some 60 lbs of pears. Where in the world will I get 60 lbs of pears in Georgia??

Surprisingly, a friend of ours grabbed appromately 40 lbs of country pears from her dad's farm in Mississippi just for this mission. Ladies and Gentleman...we are in business!

Until I made my first batch....and realized that it would not be enough for 200 favors. So instead - they are now going to be Christmas presents!

I want to first thank Mrs. R for all of her help in teaching the basics of canning and letting me borrow her equipment!

I used this recipe for the preserves:
4 lbs pears (whole, halved or quartered)
4 cups water
4 cups sugar
2 lemons, (I didn't use the slices like they advised - simply the juice)
Canning Jars (I used 8oz and 4oz bought from both Big Lots and Ace's Hardware Store)

For Beginner Canners (like myself) - I will show a step by step. Directions courtesy of Mrs. R's tutorial :)

First an foremost - Take the lids off of the canning jars. Put the jars in the dishwasher and turn it on (you can or cannot put in detergent) and leave them in there until you are ready to pour in the preserves.

Place the lids in a saucepan and fill with water. When the preserves are close to being done - boil the water with the lid on and sterilize the lids.

Peel the pears, core, and cube them. (or have your wonderful fiance do it)
Using a scale - measure out 4 lbs of pears. Boil 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar for 15 minutes. Add the lemon juice to the pears (I remove the actual lemon before pouring into the pot) Pour the pears into the pot and cook for another 15 minutes then add the rest of the sugar (2c.) and water (2c.) This is the fun part. Waiting :) Stir and boil...but make sure the sugar doesn't burn. The sugar will carmelize and you will get a lovely auburn mixture.
When your pears look like the picture above and the syrup is thick - they are ready to pour in the jars. Carefully remove the jars from the dishwasher (using a mitt) and pour the mixture in the jar leaving a 1/4 inch from the top. Tap your jar on the counter in order to remove the bubbles and wipe the mouth extremely clean. Place first the seal and then the ring on the jar and twist shut (not too tight). I use a hot water method to seal my jars. Simply place the jars on the rack over boiling water (see below) and put the lid on top. When there is consistent steam coming from the lid - start your processing time (20 minutes). Remove jars from the steamer, place on the counter on a towel, and leave them be for 12-24 hours. You will hear a popping sound which signifies that the lid is sealed and your product is safe from spoilage! If it doesn't pop - remove the lid, clean the mouth really well, and try steaming again. *Let me warn you before you try and double this recipe that it will take longer than you can imagine. I started around 7 p.m. and they were not done until 3 a.m. Just a word of caution.

Last but not least -- decorate them and pass them out to all of your friends!
The tags were bought from Design des Troy and are super cute!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday!

New Rules?

I am a messy person. Actually...messy is pretty harsh...I would like to think that it is more expressively disorganized. I usually keep the kitchen and living areas very clean - but tend to throw my clothes and shoes on a chair, bed, or whatever ledge can hold it. I sometimes step over my pile of mail before I actually decide to open it and sometimes I leave the empty roll on the holder and simply put a new roll of toilet tissue on the countertop. Oh...and usually...you can find extra shoes and jackets in the backseat of my car. All these things irk J.

J is one of the cleanest guys I know except for my father. Growing up with a military father - one always had to have their rooms clean and beds made. I however always tried to slide around that rule because my contention is -- you are simply going to lay in it again. Don't get me wrong - I have no problem with cleanliness or presenting a tidy home to guests - I just don't see the point if it is me and the dog.

My logic on this must change. Because althought we keep our own systematic households at this time - we will eventually move in together. I can easily predict that J and I will be at odds all the time. I don't want to have the argument "You're a slob" ... "Well you are a neat freak...freak!" but I see it heading that way.

Please tell me...how did you do it? If there were differences...how did you compromise to prevent the high levels of annoyance that surely follow? Was it simply neat vs messy? Or are there other quirks I need to watch out for?

Sweet Sentiments

Among all the hustle of this weekend (and me with my head in the books), we managed to discuss some of the wedding plans. All of the sudden J looked at me and said, "I am starting to get really excited!" Curious, I asked him about which part? He said so sweetly, "Just the thought of being married to you ... that makes me really excited." But that is no excuse...so sorry! (on with the show...I mean...wedding dress hunt) When I decided I needed to hit up more bridal shops - it was prime football season in the south. And Saturday games leave little time for Saturday fun (outside of a tailgating party). So I decided to continue this hunt by myself. I didn't want to bother my girlfriends (who are all avid UGA fans), so this bee (GA TECH) tried to buzz off by herself!

LaRaine's Boutique was the only shop that Alisa from Kelly's Closet starred. She explained that I would absolutely need to go there.

I made a Saturday morning appointment and then wondered what would happen if I found the dress and didn't have a second opinion! I had left all my girlfriends out of planning because I knew they were going out of town for the UGA game in Athens. After getting yelled at by J (for not including the ladies and not having enough fun) and J telling his Best Man that he had to go with me (boy you should have seen the wide-eyed shock on his face), and calling my brother to find out that he would love to go - but he was already in Peachtree City, I called my MOH's Sister-In-Law. She has been helpful, informative, and very enthusiastic about all things wedding - so I was elated when she agreed. Little did I know - my Maid of Honor decided to delay her trip to Athens just so she could go with me too!! She rocks...

We met the infamous LaRaine and she helped us with all of our dresses. After she explained the layout of the store - we selected about 5 dresses that we wanted to try on. She lets you change by yourself in the dressing room and simply zips you up when you come out. It was quite nice! She was very helpful and it is funny because she also said that Kelly's Closet was the ONLY other salon that they recommended to their brides as well.

The three of us at LaRaine's Boutique in the Virginia Highlands. Alfred Sung - Paradise. It was so different from anything I had seen - I loved the chiffon - you could swirl around and around and it felt so romantic! The downside was that could have also been a very beautiful maternity dress :( But...once I showed it to everyone else -- the majority of them were slightly amused rather than excited. Have you ever gotten that kind of reaction? Had your sights set on a dress (or something else) and everyone else simply disagree? Maybe it means a better dress is on the horizon?

....stay tuned for the second visit to La Raine's Boutique with both Maids of Honor and the Mother.

Finding magic in Kelly's Closet

So...unlike most women, I had completely put off finding my dress. I am not sure if this is because I don't think I will find something I like, I don't want to spend more money than budgeted, or I don't want to waste the weekends running around Atlanta. I simply decided to find a dress online, send it to my friend's Aunt's dress shop in the Philippines and call it a day.

But...I felt like I was neglecting my mother. Here is her chance to go shopping with her daughter to find that one special dress and I simply thumbed my nose at the idea. She didn't make any noises about it, just sat patiently by while her middle child quickly became consumed with guilt and started to make some appointments. The first one isn't worth mentioning - we practically snuck out of there. But the second one...I am so happy to sing their praises because it was the experience I needed.

Kelly's Closet, near Little Five Points, was an incredible experience. Since I made the last minute decision to go dress shopping, I emailed them that Sunday morning. They quickly responded with times they had available and we picked a 3:00 p.m. slot. It is the cutest boutique which has both street clothes and Bridal dresses. FYI: you must make an appointment for the Bridal side.

Alisa helped us and I couldn't have imagined a better person to steer us through their unique designers. She was funny, helpful, and took the time to figure out what I was looking for (because I didn't quite know myself). She introduced us to some fun dresses and the only qualm is that I wish I could have taken pictures there! It was great because we didn't feel rushed and felt like we could have spent the whole afternoon there, just laughing and gabbing away!

Out of all of them, here are my top picks!

Australian designer Mariana Hardwick designed this simple number. I didn't think I would love the strapless A-line - but it was quite flattering on!
This "Kitten" Amy Michelson dress was a little too sexy for my mother! But the front is rather simply and pretty - it would just give everyone in the pews something to gasp at ;) It's called Flash... go figure! The one I tried one had a cross made of silk, not the bedazzled version in the pictures below.
Our favorite though...the one we call our Lottery dress - was by Justina McCaffrey! If only we won the lottery...then I would be walking down the aisle in this number! Simply beautiful and classic!

As you can see -- I am quite all over the place in trying to select my nuptial attire!

Overall, we spent a wonderful afternoon with Alisa going over so many options. She was so sweet to us, even when she realized that we didn't find the dress we wanted, simply saying that I shouldn't settle! I couldn't have been more in love with Kelly's Closet. All the dresses gave me a romantic and whimsical feeling!

I walked out slightly disappointed simply because I wanted to buy my dress from such wonderful people - but a majority of their dresses were more than I was willing to spend. Alisa gave me a list of other shops that she recommended and starred La Raine's Boutique as the first shop I should visit next. I really appreciated her honesty!

I also received a sweet postcard in the mail from Alisa the next week, just checking up on me! I highly recommend them to ANYONE shopping in the Atlanta area for their dress! Do you have any hidden dress finds in Atlanta? My shopping wasn't as extensive...so where else would you recommend a bride to shop (and find great customer service)?

Next stop...La Raine's Boutique.

Sliding in Some Color...

Another check off the list! Over this holiday week - I had a couple of goals set for myself and succeeded! :) Easiest one off the list was to create the liners for the envelopes! For those that would like a step by step - I have included one below! All I ask is that you please ignore the bright yellow and red chili cloth over the table!! My mom uses that to protect her work table and it is thoroughly distracting!!! My apologies!

This is a simple process to complete if you are organized and ready to simply get it done! I have to make approximately 250 therefore I tried to use the 12x12 paper that I bought efficiently. See the supplies below :)

84 12x12 Daisy D's Paper
250 Envelopes from Paper Source
Paper Source Envelope Liner Template
Roll On Permanent Runner
Trimmer

1. Take the 12x12 and cut it down to make the stencil easier. I line the paper three dashes after the 6 inches and cut the paper.

2. Take the wider piece and copy the template for a 5.75" square. You can fit two on this piece of paper. I modified the height of the template (see below) in order to conserve more paper.

3. Use your trimmer to cut the other piece down as well (Three dashes before the 6). If you rotate the paper vertically, you can fit one more stencil. Save your scraps for future projects.4. Using scissors - cut out the liner - saving scraps for future projects. I put the boys to work on this! Simply hand them scissors and a beer and they will cut until the football games are over!
5. Flip over the liner and put tape on the top part that fits into the flap.
6. Slide it into the envelope, design up, and once secure - fold over the flap to "close" the envelope. This is how I make my crease.
Voila! Beatiful envelope liners (minus the utterly tacky red hot chili peppers!) A simple and easy way to add some color to your invitations.

Thoughts from California!

I am so excited. I have been out of town for Thanksgiving and just received my package from Janie for the International City Swap and she is absolutely amazing!!!Man...what an amazing person! She sent me awesome things from California! I love that I get to try some yummy Zinfandel - the flavours of Chocolate and Vanilla sound fantastic! And since I cook (and love Italian food) the olive Oil is so cool! It is from Willow Creek Olive Ranch and has flavors of citrus crushed with olives! Sounds quite delicious! She also snuck in there some California pistachios (love Trader Joes!!), Golden Raisins, and Scharffen Berger chocolate (one can never go wrong with chocolate!). She also sent an awesome magazine from Southern California Sunset and a really cool picture frame! Since the Colts were playing the Falcons (and my father has season seats) - he declared it Falcon's Day! So in Atlanta is where we are to stay. We did not allow this to affect our traditional Friday shopping however!

After some research, Mom booked rooms by the Mall of Georgia. We decided we could start our 4 am bonanza at this high extensive mall and hope for the best. However, a couple of days before, we caught wind of the North Georgia Premium Outlets opening up at Midnight! Imagine that -- we can hit two completely different stores in one night! We had two cars...J was driving ours and Nino was driving my sister later (they were coming from the Falcon's game).

We all got really excited until we hit Exit 17 around 11:45 p.m.

Look past my mother! It took us about 15 minutes in a long line to find a parking spot. A lady and her daughter were running back to their car without any bags! Hmm...not a good sign! We snagged her empty place and jumped out after high fiving! I need to remind you that it was freezing cold - and when we walked up to our favorited stores - there were lines wrapped around the corners JUST TO GET IN! We went to a couple and found them all the same way! Boo!! Being the sensible and tired people we were....we quickly escaped and phoned my brother to do the same. Below is the picture of us jammin down 400 South while there is still a line many miles outside of the Outlets.

Thirty minutes later (1:30 a.m.), we were tucked in bed with our alarm clocks set to 4:00 a.m. to do a better job at the Mall of Georgia. This oddly dressed couple may change the way the world thinks all by themselves. Who could better relate with the far-out Aquarian know-it-all then the bright Gemini? Others may laugh at the fairy tale ideas of these two air signs but that's okay. They know it's only a question of time before they'll be understood. Gemini will appreciate the freedom Aquarius gives and anyway, here's someone who has as many friends as you and who will become instant friends with all your friends.

Gemini Man & Aquarius Woman
This is tied with Libra and Aquarius as being your number-one soulmate love match. The Gemini boy and Aquarius girl combination is excellent because you really appreciate the most interesting qualities in each other. You are both intelligent, insightful people and you will delight in the amazing conversations that you have together. You also share each other’s taste for variety and new experiences, so you’ll have a lot of fun together. Your physical chemistry is strong and romance for both of you is more creative and fun with each other than with most other signs. You will have the best of both worlds in this relationship, because you will be both great friends and great romantic partners. A real soulmate match. (Jellybean's Astro-Soulmate Guide)

In Gemini boy, Aquarius girl finds a kindred spirit that can keep up with her on an intellectual level. Not one to fall for shallow handsome types, Aquarius girl will find thrilling company and a wealth of inspiring ideas with her Gemini companion. What could be sweeter? It needs to rain here..actually it needs to start raining for awhile in order for me to enjoy lovely flowers at my reception next June. That is selfish...I know...here we are in the middle of one of Georgia's worst droughts, when AL, FL, and GA are fighting over water rights, when there are watering bands county wide and brown grass for miles and all I am worried about is my wedding. Selfish...but I can't help if you are hoping for a Spring full of flowers too and decide to do a little jiggle ;)

I went down to my parents' place this past weekend and thoroughly loved just walking around, imagining the beauty of next year. My father is a weekend gardener and I have always loved his creations! Some of our fondest memories are building crooked beds and filling them with whatever we wanted. We weren't exactly precise and sometimes placed enemy plants next to each other...but we simply loved to watch things grow and bloom. It has been 8 years since they built this house and we started the landscaping as a family. It is just amazing to see all the progress...I guess now is the time to plant drought resistance flowers though!!

I hope you enjoy the buckets of color that I found in our backyard this fall...I can only hope for more for our reception in the spring! (i.e. weather) How are you handling these future dilemmas?

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5123108850142081170" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; My office gasped and oohed over her pictures...and it was then that I began to hope that maybe this skilled Italian would be willing to make a flight across the pond to little ol Georgia!

Ori & Francesco awaiting us at the reception to capture the night!

At first the cost of a photographer, plus two plane tickets overwhelmed me. I tried to figure out if this was actually necessary or if it was simply a far fetched desire. Thinking that I was completely impractical - I started my search for photographers stateside again. However - every now and then I would click on Danielle's slideshow and feel the emotions of her grand day and knew that was exactly what I wanted! I talked with J, my parents, my family, my office....I wanted someone to just call me out for being starry-eyed and romantic with the thoughts of an Italian Photographer clouding my vision. But they didn't...they said if this is what I wanted...to go for it. S, a wonderful woman in my office, said that everytime she watched the slideshow she got so excited and thinks that would be the only photographer for me!

All that I wanted was to have all day coverage, the negatives, an album, and a creative photographer! Francesco and Ori (his lovely wife) were wonderful to deal with and are very fair! I was blown away at their generosity and kindness! Such amazing people and I cannot wait until they get here in June!

Please see the magic that is Francesco De Tito:

All images courtesy of http://www.detitofotografie.com/

Funny thing .. I think that is a wonderful explanation and this is why it is so important to so many people, especially on a wedding day. Photographers are soley responsible for capturing the emotion and essence of any event. The only tangible thing you might have in 10 or 20 years would be the paper which holds the image they produced. This is why brides (and grooms) stressfully search for the one

I must admit .... I did stress and wonder and worry. I love photography and I wanted someone to creatively document this important day so even a stranger would sigh at the love they saw! Pretty sappy huh? :) Of the ones I met with or research...my favorites follow:

Nam Nguyen at BTO Photography. I love his work ... and unfortunately he was already booked! He was such a pleasure to chat with on email and answered every question for me! He even provided a list of recommended photographers when I found out he was booked. He was just that nice .. and for that I really wish he was available! I absolutely love his engagement shots! He has beautiful wedding images as well -- Please check out his website!!

All Images Courtesy of BTO's Blog

Also inspiring and equally creative is Matt Yung along with his wife Melissa. Both Jason and his assistant, Bri, made me feel comfortable and confident in their abilities. They had a wonderful new studio up in Cumming that they just opened. I really enjoyed talking with them and knew they would make my wedding day beautiful! Try as I might - I couldn't nab any pictures from their website! Please visit it though as they are really great people and photographers!

While all the talented people I met could definitely cover my wedding with skill and creativity ... someone else had already caught my eye ... before I was ever engaged...

Rock the Night Away...

...this is one of my biggest wishes! I always wanted an amazing band for I feel they truly create the passion and the mood for the evening. When things are slowing down...they are responsible for inspiring you to get out of your chair and let loose! What a challenge!

I thought I had found the one...in fact...before I ever got engaged, I had! I attended an insurance convention in Amelia Island two years ago with J and witnessed the above emotions happen. The floor was packed full of dancing smiling people!! And I am talking about insurance people -- not always the most exciting or lively bunch (believe you me, I am in the industry) and they had them up there until late in the evening dancing. It was beautiful! I must admit that I made J grab their card and told everyone they were going to be the band to play at my wedding!!

And I wanted them so badly when I finally got engaged...unfortunately, some other lucky couple got to them first! You won't be sorry for they are highly entertaining and they all look so darn cute in their suits and glasses. They have the Blues Brother thing going on! They are a 10 piece band which includes saxophone, trombone, trumpet, 2 percussionists, plus many more! They have a very diverse range from Motown, R&B, Beach, Pop,60s-70s-80s rock, and much more! Check out one of my favorites by them! But that isn't practical nor reasonable and just plain selfish. Besides ... who would be sitting in the audience??

In the beginning, I got too excited about the whole process and asked them right away. However, despite my rash actions - I wanted to also send them a little something. I absolutely loved all the handmade cards that most ladies make but my energy level was a little sad and lacking. Enter Pier 1 and Swoozies to the rescue.

I decide to simply write them a note (on really cute Crane & Co cards) with all of my love and appreciation and attach to it a little gift. I must admit that the gift had a double meaning - and for that I was a little shamed. However - they were all well received.

For those that are curious - I gave them an aqua candle from Pier 1 that would help them choose the color of their dresses. They can buy whatever they want as long as it is cocktail length, no sleeves, and aqua-ish.
It is my wish to make the process not too expensive in being my lady ... therefore I thought to simply allow them to buy whatever dress they wish. Have you (as a bride or bridesmaid) done this and was it difficult? I am worried it might be hard to find a dress in the right color with the right requirements. I would love feedback to ease my mind. We flew in on a Tuesday morning and traveled down to Sorrento to spend a couple of days at Pompeii, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast. Danielle was getting married on that Saturday in Positano. I will admit that I hoped this would be it - we had been dating for over a year and a half and had come a long way in our relationship. I didn't want to make this trip about wishful thinking - and so after the first couple of days of nothing happening, I completely dropped the idea all together and just relaxed. As you can see in the following pictures -- we just started enjoying ourselves.

Yummy Pizza!!

JT with all the luggage - we were waiting for our bus to our hotel, Il Nido.
Our Hotel in Sorrento In Pompeii - he absolutely loved this place!

Our Feet after 5 1/2 hours in Pompeii On our way to Naples

Relaxing with some yummy cappuccini

We packed up and traveled 45 mins south of Sorrento to arrive in Positano. This is where the nuptials of our dear friend would be held. The wedding was beautiful and we celebrated late into the evening. The next morning we left early to take a taxi back up to Rome for our last two days in Italy. The taxi was full of other wedding guests who decided to stay at the same hotel and so we all checked out the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain that evening.

Hotel Nardizzi, Rome

In the tiny lift!

The beauty of Ancient RomeThe next day we decided to do our own thing and slept in until 1. It was amazing! After all the running around we were doing - we were more than happy to just sleep! We left for the Vatican around 3 and slipped into the Museum to check things out. Since it was close to closing time we were fortunate to not have as many tourist around. We climbed the Cupola and saw all of Rome that we could see - then headed to St. Peter's Basilica. Finally they rang the bells and told us we needed to leave so we wandered into the courtyard of the Vatican. It was 7:00 and we were getting pretty hungry. J asked if I wanted to go throw coins in the fountain and then we would grab something to eat. It sounded like a wonderful plan to me! We walked over there and he handed me the coin container he had been carrying around all week. I shook it and informed him there was nothing in there. He said there should be 2 coins left - he checked that morning. I shook it again and shook my head...then decided to open it up and slid my finger in there only to touch cold metal. I gasped! He dropped to one knee and I just stared at him. He said all these beautiful things that I can't remember because I was so shocked and just pulled the ring out to look at it. It was beautiful .. absolutely beautiful...and so was he. He finally asked me to say something and I just said, "It doesn't fit." And we both started laughing and he got up and we had tears in our eyes. Life has a funny way of figuring itself out before you do...and we spent our last night engaged and enjoying some fine wine while we planned our future.

An nod to the Wedding Singer

Very few movies can I watch over and over again - however Adam Sandler movies rank high in that stack.
